Pre-ordering at JAMYAS: producing less and cultivating desire
What is a pre-order?
A pre-order allows you to reserve an item before it becomes available for delivery.
Unlike a standard purchase, garments are not systematically manufactured in large quantities and then stored in the hope of being sold. Orders are recorded in advance in order to better gauge demand and produce more accurate volumes.
At JAMYAS, pre-ordering is therefore not just another way to shop. It allows us to limit unnecessary stock, unsold inventory, and overproduction.
Rare deadstock fabrics available in limited quantities
Our new collection is exclusively designed using deadstock fabrics.
Deadstock fabrics are materials that have already been manufactured but remained unused in the stocks of manufacturers, suppliers, or workshops. Rather than systematically producing new fabrics, we choose to value these existing materials and give them a new life.
However, these fabrics are available in limited quantities.
Each roll has a specific yardage and cannot necessarily be reordered or reproduced identically. Once a material is exhausted, some creations may therefore disappear for good.
That is precisely where the true value of pre-ordering at JAMYAS lies.
Producing as precisely as possible through pre-ordering
Pre-ordering allows us to know the real demand before launching or finalizing production.
We can thus use each available yardage with greater precision, produce only the necessary quantities, and avoid wasting rare materials.
Since our deadstock fabrics are available in restricted volumes, we do not wish to manufacture a large number of pieces at random, at the risk of creating unnecessary stock.
We prefer to produce as closely as possible to your choices.
Each pre-order thus becomes a concrete indication that helps us better distribute available materials and organize a production that is fairer, more controlled, and more responsible.
Our creations will be offered in ultra-limited series, within the limit of available fabrics. Access to pre-orders will therefore be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wanting everything, right now, is not the JAMYAS way
We live in an era where everything seems to have to be immediate.
One click, express delivery, a new trend, then another. Social media, platforms, and fast fashion have accustomed us to wanting more, always faster.
Many younger generations have grown up in a world where almost everything seems instantly accessible.
Yet, not everything should be obtained immediately.
Creating a piece with care, working from rare materials, thinking about quantities, and limiting waste takes time.
At JAMYAS, we do not want to sacrifice our commitments simply to go faster.
Taking your time does not mean moving less effectively. It means doing things with more consistency and intention.
Cultivating desire
What if anticipation was an integral part of the pleasure?
Pre-ordering invites us to rediscover a feeling that our era has gradually erased: the desire to desire.
Cultivating desire means taking the time to discover a piece, to understand its story, to observe its details, and to imagine how you will wear it.
A garment chosen with attention, designed from a rare material, and produced with intention does not have the same value as an impulsive purchase, quickly replaced by the next one.
Pre-ordering means asking yourself if you really want an item.
It means choosing better to better appreciate what you wear.
Anticipation does not diminish the pleasure. It prolongs it.
Producing differently in the face of climate challenges
Images of drought, heatwaves, and fragile lands remind us that resources are not infinite.
While the planet is suffocating, part of the fashion industry continues to produce more and more, faster and faster, as if nothing should change.
At JAMYAS, we have decided to stop turning a blind eye.
We do not claim to solve the problems of the textile industry on our own. But we can question our own methods, better use materials that are already available, and avoid producing unnecessary quantities.
Pre-ordering represents a concrete response at our scale.
It allows us to prioritize real demand over forecasts, control over excess, and conscious creation over systematic production.
A collection that will be revealed gradually
For several months, we have been working in the shadows to shape a meaningful collection.
We have chosen not to reveal everything immediately.
The materials, inspirations, cuts, and first pieces of our next collections will be revealed gradually, step by step.
This unveiling is a full part of the JAMYAS experience. It allows you to discover the story of each creation and let desire grow before pre-orders open.
Coming soon, Majdi will also make his grand return on camera to explain in minute detail how pre-orders work, the origin of our deadstock fabrics, and the commitments that accompany this new collection.

As our fabrics are rare, the number of pieces available will necessarily be limited.
By joining the JAMYAS member list, you will be able to discover the next revelations in advance and benefit from priority access when pre-orders open.
Access will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and some pieces may quickly become unavailable once the entire fabric has been reserved.

At JAMYAS, we have chosen to produce less, to make the best use of existing materials, and to create each piece with intention.
Because our fabrics are rare, every creation counts.
Because every creation counts, pre-ordering becomes essential.
And because consuming better does not mean giving up the pleasure of getting dressed, we choose to cultivate desire.
